Another day in the life

Tue Feb 10, 2009, 2:50 PM
  • Listening to: The sound of waves crashing on the shoreline
  • Reading: The Elves of Cintra
  • Watching: Star Trek--Voyager
  • Playing: The Battle for Middle Earth
  • Eating: Mac-n-Cheez
  • Drinking: Freshly brewed coffee with French vanila creamer
I guess you never really escape it, do you? The influence of the past, that is. Have you ever stopped to think about how it shapes us, molds us? Memories can be building blocks, a firm foundation, or they can seem to rip the world right out from under you.

Take charge of your memories; allow them to heal, not harm.

Sing out boldly, walk in step with your lifesong, and never turn your back to the sky. Do these things, remember them, and pass them on; you will leave a legacy no matter what your intentions, so you might as well make the most of it.

Many greetings! I'm a senior psychology major formerly from South Carolina. I now reside in Georgia with my wonderful roommate, two cats, and two ferrets. I have plans to work my way through my PsyD program and become a counselor for children aged 7ish - teenaged.

I am experimenting with a variety of artistic media, from photography to traditional pencil-and-paper drawings to oils and pastels. I'm still looking for a scanner that will allow me to show off my non-digital work!

Thanks to you for stopping by. Grace and peace upon you, wherever you are and wherever you are going.

Hi! I've just seen you signature and I feel like I should ask: why do you think that Achenar will win? =)

:iconuinenfirestar:
Have you played Myst IV: Revelation? If not, I don't want to spoil it for you, but if you have, then you know why.

Personally, Achenar was always the more... human of the two. I feel sorry for him, more so now that I've finished the game. There is a great deal of character development in Myst IV.

Beyond that, I couldnt' resist the blue smiley!

:matrixfight: Sibling rivalry-- Sirrus and Achenar. Who wins? Heh heh, Achenar, of course!
:iconmystery-voice:
I heve. =) But without help from the Stranger, Achenar would be dead, you know! =D
But I agree, that he's better than his brother. =)

This is very true. Of course, by my reckoning, if it wasn't for the Stranger, they'd _all_ be dead. (Except, maybe, Gehn. He'd never run out of places to run.)

Though I can't argue with the hope in your own signature. Mutual cooperation has always been a far better course of action!

Stranger is the REAL HERO. =) For sure.

Yay for mutual cooperation! :highfive: :handshake:
